When it comes to watches, what really captivates me is the technical innovation, timeless design, and traditional craftsmanship they involve. I became a true watch fan after I inherited two elegant mechanical timepieces from my grandfather: a Junghans and a Tissot Stylist from the 1960s. Because my background is in journalism (I spent over 20 years writing for and editing magazines and newspapers), I love thorough research. One of the things I love most about the watch world are its various collaborations, e.g., the dynamic partnerships between watch manufacturers and car companies, and the slick special editions they produce.
